FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR MEMBERS

I just signed up for a Youth on Course/Mass Golf membership. What now?

  • Once you have registered and paid, you will receive a confirmation email right away from Mass Golf. You will then receive a second confirmation email later on from Youth on Course. This will include instructions on how to use your membership, a link to download the YOC mobile app (that can also be done HERE), and more. Please note that the second confirmation email can take up to 24 hours to arrive in your inbox.

 

I’m having trouble with the Youth on Course mobile app. Who should I contact?

  • For app-related issues, please contact Youth on Course directly at contact@youthoncourse.org. If you are looking to access your membership card, you can have a printable version of the card sent to your email address by filling out your information on the Youth on Course website HERE.

 

How much does a Youth on Course/Mass Golf Membership cost?

  • A Youth on Course/Mass Golf Membership costs $25 annually. Once you have an active membership, you can play at any YOC participating course for $5 per 9 or 18-hole round.

 

When does my membership expire?

  • Your YOC membership is active until February 28th of the following year. Any memberships that have auto-renew enabled will automatically renew for the following 12 months. Any memberships that do not have auto-renew enabled will expire and become inactive.

 

How old do you have to be to join Youth on Course?

  • Youth on Course Memberships are open to anyone aged 6 to 18 as of the day you sign up.

 

What other benefits come with a Youth on Course/Mass Golf Membership?

  • A Youth on Course/Mass Golf Membership makes you a full Mass Golf Member! This comes with a suite of benefits, such as access to play in Mass Golf tournaments/events, the ability to post your scores and track your Handicap Index®, and much more. Where can I sign up?

  • You can register for a Youth on Course/Mass Golf Membership HERE. If you already have an active GHIN® Number affiliated with a Mass Golf Member Club, select “Yes, and I know what it is,” then enter your GHIN Number in the box provided and hit “Continue.” This will add a Youth on Course/Mass Golf affiliation to your existing GHIN profile, in addition to your existing club affiliation(s).

 

How do I post my scores?

  • If you want to post your scores to keep track of your Handicap Index, you can do that either in the GHIN mobile app (or through the GHIN website HERE), or in the Youth on Course app.

 

How do I book a tee time?

  • We ask that all Youth on Course members book tee times over the phone, as participating courses all have different availabilities. Availability for YOC play at each course can be found in the list of participating courses at the bottom of this page.

 

Is my membership only valid in Massachusetts?

  • A Youth on Course/Mass Golf Membership lets you play at any participating YOC course, even those not in Massachusetts! Youth on Course is a nationwide program that Mass Golf is proud to partner with, and there are thousands of participating courses across all 50 U.S. states, Canada, and Australia.   • Below is a map of participating courses in Massachusetts. Please keep in mind that each course has unique days/times that are open for YOC members to play, as well as different requirements for adult accompaniment.
