No. 2 is the home of the 2024 U.S. Open, and a timeless classic where the game’s greats have played.
Tee times:
Snap a photo with a champion. A few yards from where he became the 1999 U.S. Open Champion, Payne Stewart’s statue serves as a tribute to his spirit. A trip to Pinehurst isn’t complete without an attempt to recreate his epic fist-pump stance.
Lunch on your own – options:
Overlooking the 18th green of Pinehurst No. 2, The Deuce’s open-air windows allow the soundtrack of groups finishing their rounds to compliment the local beers, cocktails and delicious pub fare.
The Centennial Dining Room is the perfect place to grab lunch. Eat on the veranda to enjoy a peaceful view

The Cradle short course, called “The most fun 10 acres in golf”.
You only need a couple of wedges and a putter to play Gil Hanse’s signature short course. Kick off your shoes, take in the music and enjoy. Stop by the Cradle Crossing for a Cradle Transfusion.
