The List we’ve prepared for you this month is to let you know what women’s golf events are happening around the world in August! With the Olympics happening over in France, this is a great time to start following women’s golf on both a national and international scale.
If you’re looking for some international competition to watch, the upcoming LPGA events are mostly over in Europe this month. Be sure to watch the Olympic Golf Competition as these notable players will be representing the United States: Nelly Korda (played in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics), Rose Zhang, and Lilia Vu.
August 1-4 – Portland Classic (Columbia Edgewater Country Club – Portland, Oregon)
August 7-10 – Olympic Women’s Golf Competition (Le Golf National – Paris, France)
August 15-18 – Women’s Scottish Open (Dundonald Links – Ayrshire, Scotland)
August 22-25 – AIG Women’s Open (St Andrews (Old Course) – St Andrews, Scotland)
August 29- September 1 – FM Global Championship (TPC Boston – Norton, MA) (Tickets)
For events hosted by the United States Golf Association check this section out! We’ve only got a few events in August but stay tuned for September when the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur is coming to Massachusetts!
August 1-4 – U.S. Senior Women’s Open (Fox Chapel Golf Club – Pittsburgh, PA)
August 5-11 – U.S. Women’s Amateur (Southern Hills Country Club – Tulsa, Okla.)
August 30- September 1 – Curtis Cup (Sunningdale Golf Club – Sunningdale, England)
Mass Golf women’s events are still on the upcoming calendar! This month we’ve got two big events– the Girls’ Junior and the Women’s Amateur. For all Mass Golf events, be sure to follow along on socials @PlayMassGolf, and our website for live scoring and event recaps.
August 1 – Team Tournament: Father Daughter (Crumpin-Fox Club)
August 5-8 –Girl’s Junior Amateur Powered By KOHR Golf (Bayberry Hills/Bass River)
August 12-16 – Women’s Amateur (Taconic GC)
August 19-20 – Women’s Senior Amateur (Crestwood CC)
August 25 – FORE The Ladies (KOHR Golf, Natick)
We have one more Women’s One Day event this season! If you’ve picked up golf in the last couple of years, be sure to give this event a try. FORE The Ladies is a golf clinic on a Sunday afternoon meant to help teach the basics of golf and meet other beginner golfers for a fun day of golf. Learn more on our website today (Sold already?
