Nick Leblanc, a member of nearby Wayland Country Club, shot 1-under-par 71 to pace the field. Leblanc, who finished T2 in the 2022 championship, made birdie on two of his first three holes and added an eagle on the par-5 11th to add to his strong performance. Playing in the same group, Jonathan Rajcula (Hopedale Country Club) shot 2-under on the back nine en route to an even-par 72. Fellow Hopedale member Lucas Levasseur, 18, the youngest in the field, shot 2-over to earn his spot in the field.

Kyle Devin (Braintree Municipal GC) and Josh Belowich (Sassamon Trace Golf Course) both advanced by shooting 73, as well as Sandy Burr member Kyle Lightner who was one of four players to shoot 76.

Ronan Connolly (Wayland Country Club) was among five players to qualify on the number at 5-over 77, but Connolly shook off a pair of double-bogeys on his final nine by making birdie on the 9th (his 18th) to meet the qualifying mark.
