On Tuesday at Dudley Hill, Joey Iaciofano (TPC Boston) was the medalist by shooting a 4-under-par 68 that included four birdies in a bogey-free opening nine. He finished with a birdie and an eagle to cap off his round. Kyle Harsh (White Cliffs Country Club) also finished birdie-eagle to move into red figures with a 70. Braden Yeomans (Bay Club at Mattapoisett) pulled off a late rally by making birdie on the last three holes to shoot 73 to move above the cutline. Vir Sidhu (Framingham Country Club) made a birdie on the 17th, and Tyson Laviano (Quail Ridge Country Club) made a birdie on the 18th, as each qualified on the number with a 74.

On Thursday at Amherst, four players advanced to the Championship Proper, including Country Club of Wilbraham members Ali Awkal and Michael McGrath. Awkal led all finishers by shooting 2-under 68 that included a bogey-free stretch of two under on the first nine and an eagle on the par-5 16th. McGrath, meanwhile, made four birdies in his round, as did Andover’s Jake Morgan, who finished 1-under 69. Brian Li (USGA/Mass Golf GC) snagged the final spot by making par on the final six holes to card a 74.

On Thursday at Westborough, Brookline’s Tyler Ford turned in the best performance, leading 12 qualifiers with a score of 4-under 68 that included a bogey-free backstretch with two birdies. Norfolk’s Evan Rogan shot a bogey-free 70, making two consecutive birdies to start his second nine. Hopedale’s Connor Griffin also finished in the red by shooting 71, and Drew Golden (Black Rock Country Club) was one back at even-par. Patrick Friel (Oakley Country Club) made eagle on the drivable par-4 2nd, yet needed to make a birdie on the penultimate hole to make the cut at 2-over. James Doyle (Sterling National Country Club) made birdie on the closing hole to also make the cut.
