NORTON, Massachusetts – With the 2020 Massachusetts golf season in the rear view mirror and the attention of those in the industry turned to preparation for next season, Mass Golf is happy to announce that it is currently seeking candidates for summer internship positions for the 2021 season.
2021 P.J. Boatwright, Jr. Internships – Mass Golf (Application Deadline: Friday, January 8th)
Mass Golf internship opportunities prepare those interested in obtaining a full time position within the golf industry in the future. Interns are trained and mentored in various areas as it relates to the successful operation of one of the largest state golf associations in the country. A total of five internships are available for the 2021 season. Please click on the individual links below to learn more about that specific internship and to access the online application process.
Through the successful USGA P.J. Boatwright Internship program, Mass Golf will be offering five positions across its championship and tournament department, its member services department and its communications department in various lengths to help the day-to-day operations of Mass Golf, one of 59 allied golf associations under the umbrella of the United States Golf Association. In 2018, the Boatwright Internship program helped place 121 interns as full time staff members at all 59 allied golf associations and offered direct exposure to managing all aspects of the game, including conducting competitions, junior golf programs and supporting membership initiatives.
