12 Eye U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Title

NORTON, Massachusetts – Twelve Massachusetts natives will be in the field this weekend when the 2018 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball kicks off at Jupiter Hills Club in Tequesta, Florida. The fourth Championship of its kind, the Championship Proper will include two days of stroke play on May 19-20 with the top-32 teams advancing to match play, beginning on May 21 and concluding with the championship match being contested on Wednesday, May 23.

Of the 12 Bay Staters in the field, 10 earned automatic berth by qualifying last fall at one of five different qualifying sites across the Northeastern United States, while two additional Massachusetts residences who had earned an alternate spot were welcomed into the field when it was finalized this spring.

The stroke play portion of the Championship will be contested on two courses at Juniper Hills Club, the Championship venue Hills Course and the stroke play co-host venue Village Course, while the match play portion will be contested solely on the Hills Course.
