NORTON, Massachusetts – The national First Tee organization, which helps kids and teens build their strength of character through golf, announced last month a five-year extension of its partnership with The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and PGA TOUR Superstore. As part of the partnership extension, First Tee received a $9.5 million grant to extend the organization’s reach to more children across the U.S. and strengthen the curriculum for its participants.

PGA TOUR Superstore has locations in Braintree and Peabody. The store is a proud partner of First Tee of Massachusetts and throughout the winter, hosted weekend youth golf clinics at both locations. Each store offers a vast selection of golf equipment, golf apparel and accessories, along with golf instruction by professionals, swing simulators and analysis, club fittings, re-grippings, club repairs and practice greens.
First Tee of Massachusetts received $15,000 as part of its share of the grant on October 3. The grant will help expand the local chapter’s offerings across Massachusetts.
“We are extremely grateful for the generosity of the Arthur Blank Foundation and the PGA TOUR Superstores,” said Kyle Harris, Director of Operations for First Tee of Massachusetts. “They have not only provided substantial financial support to our chapter but each of the local stores in Braintree and Peabody has been fun and welcoming places for First Tee programs, participants and their families.”
The Braintree store is a 37,000-square-foot location with a 1,600-square foot putting green, four fitting simulators and five hitting bays.
The Peabody store is a 45,000-square-foot location that also includes a 1,600-square foot putting green, along with seven simulators and nine practice bays.
