WESTWOOD, Massachusetts – On the final day of qualifying for the 2019 Massachusetts Senior Amateur Championship, nine competitors from Monday’s qualifier at the Norfolk Country Club earned entrance into the Championship Proper, being conducted at Cohasset Golf Club September 3-4.
An additional two competitors who finished one spot below the final qualifying spot earned alternate status and will be placed on a priority list per the Alternate Policy, which can be found on the Mass Golf Policies & Procedures Page.

Playing out of Twin Hills Country Club, Todd Ezold stole the show at today’s Senior Amateur Qualifier. Carding the lowest round of the day, a 3-under 67 to advance to next month’s Championship Proper.
Ezold started the day hot with four birdies through the first six holes and making the turn with a 4-under 31. He continued with another birdie on the par-4 10th hole, before making a double bogey on the 13th hole. From there, Ezold bounced back with his sixth birdie of the day on the par-5 16th hole and finished on top the leader board with a 3-under 67.
Scores from the remaining qualifiers ranged from 1-over 71 to 5-over 75.
