Club Partner Program - MASSGOLF

Strengthening Connections – Investing in Shared Success

All Mass Golf Member Clubs are requested to participate!

Mass Golf created the Club Partner Program to strengthen relationships, communication and engagement with our Member Clubs.

As the first part of the Club Partner Program, Club Representatives are identified and become the primary point of contact for all aspects of the Club Partner Program and serve as a conduit of information between Mass Golf and the Club. We feel that this program is a critical link to ensure that each Member Club can take full advantage of Mass Golf services, programs and resources, as well as making Mass Golf aware of issues and concerns that clubs are facing so that we can provide proactive support.

Each Member Club is requested to identify two Club Representatives: ideally one male and one female.  Representatives can be volunteer and elected leaders, owners, club committee members and or key staff members.

Actively engaged Club Representatives are critical to the success of this program and can provide valuable assistance in representing their club.

All Mass Golf Member Clubs are encouraged to participate in the Club Partner Program.

Club Representatives encourage participation in and engagement with current and NEW Mass Golf Member Club benefits in 2025:

  • Mass Golf Member Club Newsletter
  • Mass Golf webinars on GHIN, World Handicap System and Golf Genius
  • Mass Golf Club Leadership Forum events
  • NEW! Season Start Webinar
    • March 19th – A webinar designed to kick off the Club Representative program.  Mass Golf will offer education on the World Handicap System, course rating, agronomy from the USGA Green Section staff and a review of new Mass Golf events and enhancements for 2025.
  • NEW! Club Visits
    • Mass Golf staff will meet with Club representatives to raise awareness and provide education on Member Club programs & services and learn more about how Mass Golf can better serve its Member Clubs.
  • NEW! Green Section Grants
    • Any Member Club may apply for a limited number of fully funded, half day USGA Course Consulting Service (CCS) visits by USGA Agronomists, who will follow up with a written report of observations and recommendations to the club. CCS visits and reports are designed to support the Golf Course Superintendent in guiding agronomic programs and fostering communication within the club regarding course conditions.  Given this purpose, Mass Golf strongly recommends that each club’s Golf Course Superintendent (or equivalent position) be actively involved to ensure informed decision-making and effective course management. Clubs may also apply for a limited number of “start-up” packages for the USGA Deacon, GS3 and Moisture Meter technology.  Applications will be assessed and granted based on interest and commitment to support the program in future years.
    • Up to $50,000 in grants will be awarded each year.
