The age eligibility has been reduced from competitors 55 & over to competitors 50 & over (as of August 19th, 2019)
All classes will compete on August 19th in two separate waves (morning & afternoon). Entries for classes A & B and C, D & E will be accepted on a first come, first served basis (maximium of 78 players per wave). Wait list(s) will be established once each wave has been filled.
Entries are open to amateur golfers who have reached their 50th birthday by August 19th, 2019 and who have an active Mass Golf/GHIN Handicap Index at any public, private, semi-private, municipal or non-real estate Mass Golf member course/club not exceeding 36.0 – Class A, B, C, D & E (as determined by the August 1, 2019 Handicap Revision), or who have completed their handicap certification.
Pocasset Golf Club’s Natalie Galligan captured the Mass Womens Senior Class A-B title Monday, shooting a 1-under 71 at Acushnet River Valley, while Sue Maslowski of Lowell’s Long Meadow GC, claimed the C-D-E title the following day.
