Entries are open to amateur golfers who have reached their 55th birthday by August 27th or 28th, 2018 (depending on class) and who have an active Mass Golf/GHIN Handicap Index at any public, private, semi-private, municipal or non-real estate Mass Golf member course/club not exceeding 36.0 – Class A, B, C, D & E (as determined by the August 1, 2018 Handicap Revision), or who have completed their handicap certification.
In mid August at Indian Pond Country Club, Barb Hecimovich of Green Hill Municipal Golf Course posted a score of 76 to capture the overall A/B Senior Championship. She bested Bedrock Golf Club’s Mary Gale by one stroke and Pam Kuong (Charles River CC) and Mary Jane Wagner of Nashawtuc Country Club, who tied for third place overall. Jill Appel of Charter Oak Country Club won the Overall C/D/E Championship, while Jane Keaveney of Walpole Country Club captured the A/B Legends Gross Division.
