The 119th Massachusetts Women’s Amateur Championship will return to Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley as part of its centennial celebration. Orchards hosted the Mass Women’s Amateur for the first time since 1995, when Anne Marie Tobin won the title.
Orchards Golf Club is one of more than 400 golf courses that Donald Ross designed throughout his career. Ross designed the front nine in 1922 and returned to complete the back nine in 1927. The course was donated to Mount Holyoke College in 1941.
