Headline: MGA Member Golfers Enjoy a Half Day of Education, Golf and Cocktails at Historic Kernwood CC as Part of the MGA Speaker Series

Peabody, MA — More than two dozen MGA member golfers enjoyed a fun half day of education, golf and cocktails (plus amazing food!) on Thursday at Kernwood Country Club as part of the season's first MGA Member Speaker Series event.

Following a brief presentation on how to balance saving for college and retirement, the group jumped into their golf carts (after a fun photo, of course!) and then played the front nine of the historic Peabody course. Everyone then came back to the clubhouse to enjoy drinks, food and networking.

It was a special treat for the participants as they were able to experience the same layout that some of the world's top senior professional players will play when Kernwood CC hosts a 2017 U.S. Senior Open Sectional Qualifier on May 24.

The MGA Member Speaker Series is a complimentary service provided to Member Golfers by the MGA. It is meant to provide golfers with an opportunity to network and get to know other golfers from the Bay State.
