Headline: MGA Announces Qualifying Sites For the 108th Playing of the Massachusetts Open Championship

Norton, MA — While the 2017 MGA Championship season may be months away, the MGA staff has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming season.
On Wednesday, the six qualifying locations for the 108th Massachusetts Open Championship, scheduled for June 12-14 at TGC in Falmouth, were announced.
The second oldest of the MGA’s 12 Championship Proper’s, the Massachusetts Open Championship is also the only MGA event open to professional golfers and hence the only one with a professional purse.
Ahead of the 108th playing of that Championship Proper, a total of six qualifiers will be held at sites located across the state and they are as follows:
“We are excited for the 2017 MGA competitive season and announcing these qualifiers for the Mass Open is the first step in preparing for what will be a fantastic season of golf,” said Kevin Eldridge, the MGA's director of rules & competition. “We are thankful for the generosity of our Member Clubs who have allowed us to host both qualifiers and Championships at their courses.”
Registration for the Massachusetts Open and all 12 MGA Championships will open on February 2nd at 10:00 a.m. (EST).
The sites for future qualifying sites for the 2017 season will be announced in the coming months as plans are finalized.
