Headline: Never Be Inactive Again! The MGA Members Now! Program Allows Golfers to Renew Their MGA/GHIN Membership Online for the 2017 Season
For Immediate Release: October 24, 2016
Norton, MA — The MGA is pleased to announce the opportunity for all active Members Now! golfers to renew their MGA/GHIN membership now for the 2017 season.
The Fall Bonus Program also allows golfers with inactive MGA/GHIN memberships or golfers who have never had a MGA/GHIN membership to join now and remain active through the 2017 season.

Even as the competitive golf season winds down, there are likely several weeks of great fall golf weather here in the Bay State and scores from throughout the region may be posted until November 15th.
"As part of our preparation for the 2017 season, we want to make it easy for golfers to renew or signup for MGA/GHIN membership”, explained Mark Gagne, the MGA’s Director of Member Services. “Last year, we saw many golfers take advantage of this opportunity and it offers the new or inactive golfer a bonus period of membership at no additional cost.
"The MGA Member Days have been very popular and will be expanding to 20 events next season. Ensuring your MGA/GHIN membership remains active and avoids any interruption will allow for easy registration when the 2017 Member Day lottery opens this winter.”
It is important to renew your handicap index with an MGA Member Club to maintain your score history. If your MGA/GHIN membership is inactive for two or more years, your GHIN number and your score history will be deleted. And when it’s too cold to play here, you can post rounds played in warmer climates that observe an active season year-round.
Signing up for or renewing your MGA/GHIN membership is a simple online process that takes only a few minutes. All the information you need, along with a description of the many other benefits of MGA/GHIN membership can be found by clicking here.
