One day 18 hole event. Two player scotch format. There will be Gross and Net Divisions. 50% combined handicaps.
Description of format – Golfers hit off alternate tees (player one hits drive on first hole. player two hits drive on second hole, etc.) and then play alternate shots into the hole. Teams write down the team score on each hole. Teams then add all 18 hole scores and that is the total gross score. Teams subtract the 50% combined handicap we will provide and that is their total net score.
Low gross winners engraved on trophy.
There will be a Member Day on this date on this course as well. The Curtis Bowl Scotch is a AM Shotgun and the Member Day is a PM Shotgun.
Two women teams. Entries are open to amateur golfers who have an active Mass Golf/GHIN Handicap Index up to 54.0 (as determined by the August 13, 2020 Handicap Revision). Players with a handicap index of higher than 36.0 will be limited to a 36.0 Player Handicap.
