From August 16-23, 2019, Mass Golf members – those who hold an active GHIN handicap at one of the 360 member clubs throughout the Bay State – will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to play six rounds of golf at some of Scotland’s most premier courses. Thanks to a partnership with The Experience St. Andrews, part of Compass Group, LLC., the Mass Golf inaugural Scotland Trip will feature play on six courses over an eight day (seven night) span that includes play at Old Course at St. Andrews – the world’s oldest golf course and commonly referred to as “The Cathedral of Golf.”
Play at 2018 British Open host site Carnoustie Championship Course, as well as Nairn, Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart and the New Course at St. Andrews are all included in the trip’s itinerary, which also includes a whiskey distillery tour and tasting, various receptions and meals, as well as travel to and from all locations.
“Members of all skill levels are encouraged to join us for a week of great golf, camaraderie and memorable experiences,” said Director of Member Services Mark Gagne, who has overseen the organization of this trip through The Experience St Andrews – a provider of luxury golf tours across Europe. “This is a benefit that our members have been asking for and we are delighted to work with this new partner, which has an outstanding reputation for delivering unique golf excursions and provides access to Scotland’s most exclusive layouts.”
The inaugural Mass Golf Scotland trip is part of an extended effort to meet the needs and interests of all Mass Golf members across the Bay State.
