SUTTON, Massachusetts – Tuesday marked the final day of qualifying for the 2018 Massachusetts Open Championship, being contested from June 11-13 at Great Horse in Hampden, and 15 competitors at Pleasant Valley Country Club earned entrance into the Championship field following scores that ranged from 3-under 69 to 1-under 71.
Celebrating its 109th year, the Championship remains the only Mass Golf event of the year with a professional purse. An additional three competitors, who shot even par-72, earned alternate status and will be placed on a priority list per the Alternate Policy, which can be found on the Mass Golf Policies and Procedures Page.
