Managed by Audubon International, the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program is a program that recognizes golf courses that successfully incorporate environmental management into their course operations. Members must meet minimum environmental standards in six categories to achieve and maintain their certifications.

An affiliated program of Audubon International is Monarchs in the Rough, which provides material for courses to build one acre of monarch habitat, aiding monarch breeding and migration while benefitting other at-risk pollinators.
