BOYLSTON, Massachusetts. — Women’s Golf Week, a marquee initiative from PGA REACH New England’s Diversity & Inclusion pillar, is set to begin on Monday, May 31 and continue through June 6. The week-long celebration is designed to place a greater focus on and provide increased access to golf’s female demographic.
PGA Reach New England will collaborate with the five regional State Golf Associations to provide marketing, promotion, prepared social media images, and additional content to support existing or new programs created for female golfers.

Four participating golf facilities highlight the week-long celebration, each offering a unique blend of social, instructional, and competitive offerings by their respective PGA Professional staff. Each facility, Renaissance (Haverhill, MA – June 1), The Bay Club at Mattapoisett (Mattapoisett, MA. – June 2nd), Granite Links (Quincy, MA – June 3) and Brookline Golf Course (Chestnut Hill, MA – June 4), will welcome over 50 participants each day through various programming.
Any female golfer in New England, from newcomers to long-time handicap carrying players, can search for and find a local program to participate in. Over 100 golf facilities or outdoor practice centers have raised their hand and committed to offering instruction, social engagements, beginner clinics, regular league opportunities, and more – all for females.

The week-long celebration coincides with the international Women’s Golf Day on Tuesday, June 1st. Women’s Golf Day hosts a Palooza on Tuesday, May 25th – a digital celebration led by Jack Nicklaus and Annika Sorenstam – to connect new and established golfers around the world.
