TIME FOR A BIT OF SPRING CLEANING
That first round of the season may have already come and gone for some of the die-hard golfers here in Massachusetts, but for many of us we have not yet made our way out to course. And there may be a portion of us that still need to tackle one of the more important tasks when preparing for the season… cleaning out our golf bag. Put on some music and let’s get started.
- EMPTY EVERYTHING OUT OF THE BAG. AND WE DO MEAN EVERYTHING.
You’ve continued to add to your bag round after round that you can’t possibly know what is in the depths of some of those pockets and even at the bottom of the bag itself.
- LAY IT ALL OUT ON THE FLOOR AND TAKE INVENTORY
Sounds familiar, right? Well if you didn’t get around to it in your season prep, we encourage you to take a good hard look at everything and make a few notes before you go on a shopping spree.
- IT’S OKAY TO THROW THINGS OUT
Damaged golf balls, wornout gloves with holes, that old granola bar that has been exposed to extreme temperatures — it can all go.
- AND HERE COMES THE SPRING CLEANING
Gives those clubs a good cleaning and hit that bag with a bit of Febreze. Might as well let it breathe outside for a bit. Just like you, some fresh air will do it good.
- CONSIDER YOUR BAG’S FUNCTIONALITY
Do you have a permanent home for everything in your bag or are there some pockets and spaces that end up being a catchall? If you are questioning whether or not you have enough pockets, it might be time for a new bag. Titleist has a lot of great options if you are trending in that direction. Titleist Golf Bags
- TIME TO PACK IT UP!
Now that your bag is in good shape, you might as well book a tee time for this weekend.
